A simple individual-based population growth model with limited resources

We address a novel approach for stochastic individual-based modelling of single species population. Individuals are distinguished by their remaining lifetimes, which regulated the interplay between inexorable running time and individual's nourishment history. A food-limited environment induces intraspecific competition henceforth carrying capacity medium may be finite, often emulating qualitative features logistic growth. Inherently non-logistic behavior is also obtained suitable change few parameters involved, composing wide variety dynamical features. Some analytical results obtained.
